Somehow, I managed to get past this error.
Guide to dual boot Mac OS X Mavericks & Windows 7 on HP ProBook b | tonymacxcom
I have no clue what I did, but it worked. Then Mavericks came out and I decided to upgrade, so I did.
I messed some stuff up on my Windows partition wouldn't even boot anymore so I decided to reinstall it. Well, now I am getting the error again. I have reformatted and repartitioned my drive so many times I have no idea what else to try.
My system: Intel Core ik 4. Any help would be appreciated! Going Bald Moderator. Even better, make it Legacy only. Choose the plain one. If you want the system reserved partition, use the Windows installer disk management tool to remove all partitions on the drive, then format the drive NTFS and install.
Thanks for the replies guys! However, after it installs and gets to the part where it needs to restart, it restarts but it can't find the drive. If I chose it, however, it will continue the Windows installation as normal and then it says "Windows is uncompatible with this hardware, please retry installation" Or something along those lines. What now? I feel like the problem must be with how I formatted the drive How exactly would you guys go about making the partitions?
